Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 July 2026. On The Map LLC, Boise, Idaho.
What this covers
This policy explains what information On The Map LLC collects through onthemapai.com, why we collect it, how it is used, and what control you have over it. It applies to this website and to communications that follow from an inquiry submitted here.
Information you give us
When you submit a form on this site we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, business name, website address, a description of the process you want solved, your preferred timing, and the figures you entered into the bottleneck calculator if you submitted a form on the same visit.
The calculator itself runs entirely in your browser. Moving the sliders sends nothing to us. Those figures are only transmitted if you choose to submit the form.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you visited. This is used to understand how the site performs and how people find it. If analytics services are enabled on this site, they are listed in the third party section below.
How we use it
- To evaluate your request and determine whether a sprint is a good fit
- To reply to you and communicate about your project
- To schedule and deliver services you request
- To improve the website and the clarity of what we offer
- To meet legal, accounting, and record keeping obligations
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Email and phone contact
By submitting a form and checking the consent box, you agree that On The Map may contact you by email or phone regarding the project you described. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any email or writing to the address at the bottom of this page, and we will.
Text messages
We do not send promotional text messages. Providing a phone number on a form is not treated as consent to receive recurring marketing texts. If we ever introduce SMS communication, it will require its own separate and explicit opt in, with clear disclosure of message frequency and applicable rates.
Third party services
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate this site and communicate with you. These may include a website host, a transactional email provider used to deliver form notifications and replies, a scheduling tool if you book a call, a customer relationship system for tracking inquiries, and website analytics. Each processes information only as needed to provide their service to us.
Project information and confidentiality
Descriptions of your business processes are treated as confidential. They are used to evaluate and, if you engage us, to deliver your project. We do not publish details about your business, your workflows, or your software without your written permission. Any case study we publish requires your explicit approval of both the content and the figures in it.
Data retention
Inquiries are retained for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to them, and afterward for a reasonable period for business records. If you ask us to delete your information and we have no legal or contractual obligation to keep it, we will delete it.
Your choices
- Ask what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your information
- Ask us to stop contacting you
Write to the address below and we will handle it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law, and we will honor valid requests under those laws.
Cookies
This site uses only what is necessary to function, plus any analytics listed above. It does not run advertising trackers or cross site retargeting pixels. Your browser settings can block or delete cookies, and the site will continue to work.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information submitted through this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not send passwords, financial account numbers, or other sensitive credentials through the website forms.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under sixteen. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
